HIFU CAVITATION
HIFU Cavitation works by ultrasound and radio frequency for skin tightening and lipolysis (fat elimination). Cavitation is a newer, non-surgical and non-invasive procedure that has been incredibly successful at re-contouring the face and body by combining what we need most, tightening ad fat reduction. This ‘lunch time’ procedure is painless and requires zero down time. Cavitation destroys fat cells by using low frequency sound waves. Once the fat cell is destroyed, the free fatty acids are moved to the liver where they are metabolized and removed from the body. Radio Frequency penetrates the layers of the skin to increase collagen production and stimulate dermal layers causing instant tightening results. Some patients will see immediate results while others will see results by the third treatment.
The most common problem areas that are treated:
Jowl
Neck
Décolleté
Eyes
Buttocks
Thighs
Abdomen
Love handles
Male chest
Upper arms
Inner thighs
It is also especially effective in the removal of cellulite. Cavitation is the perfect treatment for people who want to contour their body and regain their confidence and figure. Optimal results are seen after 6 sessions.
Is it Safe?
Ultrasound cavitation is extremely safe. During treatment, the process is comfortable and completely painless. Once the fat is released, some patients have noticed that they feel warmer or unwell temporarily. This is due to the release of thermal energy and detoxification of the body. Even though cavitation is extremely effective, women should still eat a high fiber, healthy diet. Drinking water will help the liver to metabolize fat and ensure that the procedure is successful. In addition, diet and exercise will help ensure that the procedure is not needed again.
Are there any Cavitation Side Effects?
Although side effects are rare, the most common symptoms are swelling or redness in the treated area. These side effects normally go away within a couple of days or weeks. Some people may notice more urine after treatment due to the release of toxins and waste by the body. In addition, individuals may have drier skin following their treatment. This may last for a few days and can be reduced using lotions that contain aloe vera. In general, most people can resume their normal life as soon as the treatment is complete.
Typically, individuals need six treatments to achieve results, but further sessions may be necessary. We recommend a series of 6 weekly treatments, at which time we can re assess and see if more treatments may be beneficial. The number of total sessions required will depend on the treatment area and the individual’s body type.
Contraindications to treatment with Cavitation:
Pregnant women
People with Epileptic disorders.
Any active infection
Cancer
Pacemaker
Uncontrolled Diabetes
Individuals on blood-thinning medication
Individuals who have a metal implant in the treatment
