BOTOX
As we age, our collagen production begins to slow. Over time, this decreased production, with the help of gravity, causes the elastin in our skin to loosen. This gives us the appearance of loose skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. Botox® Injections can help reverse these lines and wrinkles for up to 3-5 months by temporarily preventing the muscles from contracting. This leaves you with smooth, wrinkle free and tighter skin even with your biggest smile on! Botox® is most commonly used to treat forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet at the corner of the eye, and the lines that form between the eyebrows (commonly known as the elevens). Botox can also be used as an alternative to lip filler, with our Lip Flip Treatment. This treatment can be used if you are looking for that pout look. The lip flip will push your upper lip outwardly just a touch to improve the fullness and look of your smile. This treatment is known to cure a case of ‘Gummy Smile’ - Other neurotoxins include Dysport and Xeomin.
How Does Botox Work?
Botox® injections block signals from the nerves to the muscle. This causes an inability of the muscle to contract, which causes wrinkles and lines to relax and soften.
